Edakkal Caves are the combination of two natural caves on the top of Ambukutty hill at Edakkal. ‘Edakkal’ means that “a stone in between”. This caves are famous for its pictorial paintings of figures: human, animals, symbols and letters which are considered to be of 6000 BC.

Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary
In Kerala Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary is the second largest wildlife sanctuary. Wildlife sanctuary are two parts – One is Muthanga towards the east partnering with Tamil Nadu and other one is Tholpetty in the north side of Karnataka.
The Wildlife Sanctuary is rich in flora and fauna. Flora of wayanad are characteristic of the western ghats and the plantation crops grown in a cool climate. Major part of this location is covered by coffee.The road side are all green and thick plantations present in the forests. Bamboo groves comprising with deciduous forests is the another major attraction of this sanctuary.
