Ambalapuzha Temple
Located in the district of Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. Built in the traditional Kerala style architectural pattern, the temple is famous for its delicious rice pudding prepared in sweet milk, popularly known as Pal Payasam. The tranquil ambience of the place, with paintings and sculptures of Lord Krishna adorning the temple, takes you on a spiritual journey.
The temple also has a majestic collection of paintings depicting the ten avatars (Dashavatar) of Lord Vishnu which add to the all-around rich cultural ambience of the place.
